 My name is Fu-En Yang (Fred). I am a Research Scientist at [NVIDIA Research Taiwan](https://research.nvidia.com/labs/twn/). My research interests involve transfer learning, large vision-language models (LVLMs), multimodal understanding & reasoning, VLM agents, and video modeling. I completed my Ph.D. from [National Taiwan University (NTU)](https://www.ntu.edu.tw/english/) in 2023 under the supervision of [Prof. Yu-Chiang Frank Wang](http://vllab.ee.ntu.edu.tw/ycwang.html), and was also a research intern at NVIDIA Research Taiwan. Before that, I received my Bachelor’s degree from the [Department of Electrical Engineering](https://web.ee.ntu.edu.tw/eng/index.php) at [National Taiwan University (NTU)](https://www.ntu.edu.tw/english/) in 2018.
