Hi! I’m Ayca, a computer vision and deep learning research intern at the NVIDIA Dynamic Vision and Learning (DVL) group under the supervision of Laura Leal-Taixé. I am a third year PhD student at ETH Zurich, supervised by Bob Sumner and Siyu Tang. My research interests mainly lie in 3D scene understanding and 3D vision for augmented reality applications and autonomous robots. I am particularly interested in language-guided 3D understanding of our surroundings. I was previously a student researcher at Google Zurich in 2024, and I also briefly worked as a research engineer at ETH Zurich prior to my PhD studies.
