Cristiano is a postdoctoral researcher at NVIDIA’s DVL group. He did his PhD at the University of Trento at the MHUG laboratory under Prof. Elisa Ricci, Prof. Nicu Sebe, and Prof. Fabio Galasso’s supervision, where he specialized in deep learning, computer vision, domain adaptation, and generalization. During his doctoral studies, he visited the Dynamic Vision and Learning Group at the Technical University in Munich, where he worked under the guidance of Dr. Aljosa Osep and Prof. Dr. Laura Leal-Taixé.

Cristiano is passionate about the intersection of computer vision, autonomous driving, deep learning, and perception. He is working on cool research exploring the potential of 3D sensors but finding both LiDAR and cameras fascinating. Beyond research, he enjoys climbing walls, hiking peaks, and playing guitar.
