Jonathan Leaf joined the High-Fidelity Physics team as a research scientist in 2021. Before joining Nvidia, he worked at Ziva Dynamics developing real-time machine learning character deformation technology Ziva RT. He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, studying yarn-level cloth simulation, advised by Doug James.

Jonathan is interested in differentiable physics-based simulation, machine learning, and generative AI.
