I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at Stanford University, advised by Prof. Ron Fedkiw and Prof. Leo Guibas. During my first year, I also completed a rotation with Prof. Gordon Wetzstein. My research interests focus on Computer Graphics, especially physically-based simulation and geometry processing. More broadly, I’m fascinated by any problems that bridge physics and geometry. I completed my master’s studies at ETH Zürich under the supervision of Prof. Markus Gross and Prof. Barbara Solenthaler, with a major in visual computing and a minor in theoretical computer science. During this time, I spent over a year working at the Computer Graphics Laboratory and Disney Research Studios on real-time neural simulation. I obtained my bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia, where I worked on a pure mathematics research project in number theory with Prof. Andrew Rechnitzer and Prof. Michael Bennett, and two research projects in geometry processing related to surface reconstruction with Prof. Alla Sheffer. My hometown is Hangzhou.
