Michael Honke joined the High-Fidelity Physics team as a research engineer in 2026. He started at NVIDIA in 2022 to work on synthetic data generation tools for autonomous vehicle and robotics development with a focus on sensor simulation, voxels and world models. Before joining NVIDIA, he was part of Ziva Dynamics developing the Ziva VFX deformable body solver. He studied fluid simulation at the University of Waterloo, where he earned an MMath in Computer Science advised by Christopher Batty. Michael enjoys building systems that replicate the world as realistically as possible, drawing on physics-based simulation, geometric methods, computer vision and machine learning.
