Zihan is a Research Intern in the High-Fidelity Physics Research Team. He is also a 4th-year PhD student at the University of California, Irvine, where he is advised by Prof. Shuang Zhao. His research focuses on physics-based differentiable rendering and simulation using Monte Carlo methods, specifically aiming to develop efficient algorithms for solving inverse problems that involve complex geometries.
