Yen-Ting Lin is engaged as a Research Scientist Intern at NVIDIA Research Taiwan and concurrently pursues his Ph.D. at National Taiwan University, mentored by Professor Yun-Nung (Vivian) Chen. Specializing in the development of localized large language models (LLMs), his research primarily concentrates on the incorporation of cultural nuances. His initiative, the “Taiwan-LLM” project, targets the enhancement of language technology for over 23 million Traditional Mandarin speakers. With a unique blend of academic rigor and practical innovation, Lin is dedicated to advancing LLMs’ cultural precision and contributing profoundly to the domain.
