|Josef Spjut, Ph.D.
Josef Spjut joined NVIDIA Research in 2013 part time while also serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Engineering at Harvey Mudd College where he taught courses in Digital Design, Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems and Game Console Design from 2012-2015. As of June 2015, Josef joined NVIDIA Research full time working in the graphics and new experiences group.
He received his Ph.D. from the University of Utah where he designed Ray Tracing Architectures. Josef also holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Riverside where he focused on Embedded Systems.
