Bio:

Stephen joined the Mobile Visual Computing group at NVIDIA Research in 2015. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis (St. Louis, MO, USA) in December 2014. He holds a Bachelors degree in computer science and mathematics and a Masters degree in computer science, both from the University of Tulsa (Tulsa, OK, USA). His doctoral work focused on introducing approximations to machine learning and prediction for large scale data. Growing up in the Midwest, he has a natural affinity for baseball, good barbecue, and an occasional thunderstorm.
