Research Scientist

Xiaodong joined the Mobile Visual Computing Group at NVIDIA Research in 2015. He has a broad range of research interests in computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, and multimedia analytics. He is currently working on human gesture and action recognition, image and video classification, dynamic facial analysis, and multimedia search. Before joining NVIDIA, he has been working on large-scale image and video recognition, human activity understanding, video surveillance event detection, and computer vision based assistive technology. Xiaodong received his Ph.D. degree from City University of New York (2015) and B.S. degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (2009).
