Allen Ren is a PhD student at Princeton where he works with Prof. Anirudha Majumdar. He received his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and Master in Robotics at Johns Hopkins. During PhD he has spent time at Google DeepMind, Toyota Research Institute, and Stanford ILIAD. He is interested in designing algorithms that enable robots to operate safely and robustly under diverse environment variations, thus building trust between humans and robots. He received the Best Student Paper Award at CoRL'23 and the Porter Ogden Jabobus Fellowship at Princeton (highest honor for graduate students).
