Lingdong Kong is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Computing, Department of Computer Science, at the National University of Singapore, under Prof. Wei Tsang Ooi. He was a research-based master’s student in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, working with Prof. Ziwei Liu. His research interests include 3D scene perception, generation, and understanding, with special focuses on topics related to autonomous vehicles.

He pursues to build 3D perception and generation models that are robust, scalable, and generalizable across domains and scenarios, while requiring minimum human annotations.
