Michael Watson is a Research Engineer with the Autonomous Vehicle Research Group at NVIDIA Research. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley in 2009 and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 2010. After that, he worked at The Aerospace Corporation from 2010 to 2019, where his roles included the development of high-fidelity simulators for spacecraft. Since 2019 he has been at NVIDIA, where he worked in the Planning and Control group developing algorithms and simulations for autonomous vehicles before joining NVIDIA Reseearch in 2024.
