Ziqi Lu is a PhD candidate at MIT CSAIL’s Marine Robotics Group, supervised by Prof. John Leonard. His research focuses on robot perception, 3D computer vision, and machine learning. He is particularly interested in developing robust and object-aware robot perception and mapping systems. He earned his Master’s from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Bachelor’s from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Prior to joining NVIDIA, Ziqi was a research intern at Meta Reality Labs and Amazon AWS AI.
