Rodrigo is a Postdoctoral researcher at the NVIDIA’s Dynamic Vision and Learning (DVL) Lab, where he previously worked as an intern. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Bonn under the supervision of Prof. Cyrill Stachniss, focusing on perception for autonomous driving. Prior to his doctoral studies, Rodrigo earned his degree in Electrical Engineering and worked at iRobot (USA).
His research interests lie at the intersection of deep learning and scene understanding, particularly leveraging LiDAR and camera data for robust perception systems.
