Since finishing an industrial PhD education at NVIDIA and Lund University, Pontus has been a research scientist in the company’s real-time rendering research group. His research interests span computer graphics, image analysis, and human perception. While his main research has been in image quality assesment, where he and several colleagues have developed the ꟻLIP tool, he has also done research in the fields of color vision deficiency, high frame rate rendering, and texture filtering.
