Zheng joined NVIDIA as a research intern in the summer of 2024, and continues again in the summer of 2025. Zheng is currently working with Prof. Lingqi Yan at UCSB.
Zheng’s research focuses on achieving real-time photorealistic rendering, exploring new geometric representations, efficient sampling methods, aggregated complex appearance, dynamic global illumination solutions, software ray tracing solutions, and post-processing techniques. Zheng also studies generative diffusion models to enhance photorealistic rendering and inverse rendering.
