Daniel Dauner is a Research Intern with the Autonomous Vehicle Research Group at NVIDIA. He is currently in his final year of his PhD studies at the University of Tübingen, where he is supervised by Prof. Andreas Geiger. His research focusses on applications of data-driven simulation for autonomous vehicles, where he published methods on scalable evaluation of end-to-end systems, generative modelling for driving scenarios, or simulation-based training with reinforcement learning. Prior to his PhD, he received his bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics in 2021 and his master’s in computer science in 2023 at the University of Tübingen.
