Yilun Xu is a Research Scientist in Fundamental Generative AI Research (GenAIR) Group, NVIDIA Research. He obtained his Ph.D. from MIT CSAIL in 2024, and his B.S. (Turing class) from Peking University in 2020. His research focuses on machine learning, with a current emphasis on generative models, including the development of training and sampling algorithms for diffusion models, as well as the design for the next-generation models. Previously, he has done research aimed on bridging information theory and machine learning.
