I am a senior research scientist at NVIDIA, focusing on ways to leverage deep learning in the context of real-time rendering. I previously worked as a research scientist at Disney Research (2013-2018). I obtained my B.Eng. at Polytechnique Montréal (2000), my M.Scs. at the University of Montreal (2007), and my Ph.D. at the University of Bern (2013) with Matthias Zwicker.
From 2000 to 2005, I worked as a software engineer in the Matrox Video Group, and from 2007 to 2009 I was a research assistant of Roger D. Hersch at the EPFL.
I am married and the busy father of three boys. We all live in the beautiful city of Bern in Switzerland since 2009.
