NVIDIA

Petrik Clarberg joined the Real-Time Rendering group at NVIDIA Research in 2016. His main research interests are in evolving the real-time graphics pipeline through systems and algorithmic research, currently focused on real-time path tracing, new appearance models, and the combination of machine learning with real-time graphics.

Prior to joining NVIDIA, he spent 8 years at Intel as a graphics researcher, inventing algorithms and graphics hardware features for real-time rendering. Petrik’s passion for graphics started with the 1990s demo scene. He later co-founded a startup, and received his PhD degree from Lund University, Sweden.
