Jiawei Yang develops data-driven reconstruction and generation models to advance vision-centric representations. His research focuses on scalable reconstruction models for dynamic 3D scenes, enabling the rapid and robust creation of digital twins of the physical world.
Jiawei Yang is a second-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Southern California, advised by Yue Wang. His research interests lie in developing vision-centric and physics-aware AI systems through self-supervised learning. Before his Ph.D., he earned an M.S. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor's degree from Southeast University in China.
