Graduate Fellow: Belen Masia (2012)

Belen Masia received her MS degree in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Universidad de Zaragoza, Spain, where she is now enrolled as a PhD student in the Graphics and Imaging Lab, supervised by Prof. Diego Gutierrez. She also collaborates with the Camera Culture Group at MIT Media Lab, under the guidance of Prof. Ramesh Raskar. Her research interests lie in the fields of computational photography and applied perception. In particular (but not restricted to): computational displays, coded apertures, scene understanding and (simple/low-cost) light source and material acquisition. Her work has already been published in several venues, including Transactions on Graphics and Computer Graphics Forum.
