Graduate Fellow: James Hegarty (2013)

James Hegarty is a third year computer science Ph.D. at Stanford University. He works in the area of systems, graphics, and programming languages. Previously, he worked together with other researches at Stanford to investigate extending the graphics pipeline to support micropolygon rendering. Currently, he is examining image processing languages, with the goal of creating a programming model that is able to exploit difficult-to-find localities in image processing code.
