Jean-Luc is a Research Scientist on NVIDIA's Security and Privacy research team, building new frameworks and tools for secure and private systems that can leverage hardware and cryptographic guarantees.
Prior to NVIDIA, he completed a PhD at UC Berkeley, where his research focused on building systems for privacy and security on constrained devices, using GPUs to practically accelerate cryptographic protocols like multi-party computation to support secure machine learning applications. He has also worked on embedded systems, enhancing mobile sensor networks with strong privacy guarantees.
