Research
Zihao is interested in systems for machine learning. His current research focuses on machine learning compilation, serving systems for foundation models, and sparse computation. He aims to build systems to improve the efficiency of foundation models serving and design programming abstractions to enhance the programmability of emerging architectures.
Bio
Zihao Ye is a Ph.D. student in the SAMPL group at the University of Washington where he is advised by Prof. Luis Ceze, he also works closely with Prof. Tianqi Chen. Prior to coming to UW, he was a software engineer at AWS AI Lab in Shanghai. He received his bachelor's degree in ACM Honors Class at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
