Ali Hatamizadeh is a research scientist at NVIDIA as of 2020. His research interests include self-supervised learning, novel architectures for data and hardware-efficient deep learning and security and fairness in federated learning. He received his PhD and MSc in Computer Science from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) where he worked with Prof. Demetri Terzopoulos on a variety of computer vision tasks. He is the recipient of the 2018 UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science Edward K. Rice Outstanding Masters Student Award.
