Towaki Takikawa joined NVIDIA as a Research Scientist in 2020 in the Hyperscale Graphics Systems (HGS) research group.
His research interests include computer graphics, computer vision, and machine learning. In particular, he is interested in neural fields as a new paradigm for signal processing and how traditional signal processing operations like filtering, compression, sampling, and editing can be enabled for neural fields to design practical and efficient computer graphics, vision, and multimedia systems.
He received his Bachelors (2020) from the University of Waterloo and is currently pursuing a PhD degree at the University of Toronto.
