Mike Sullivan

Mike Sullivan is a senior research scientist in the Architecture Research Group, working out of Austin, TX. His main research interest is the design of efficient and dependable large-scale computer systems. Specifically, he has studied system-level reliability modeling with cross-layer coordination, strong memory system protection, low-cost pipeline protection, and efficient and reliable application-specific acceleration. He received a PhD in computer architecture from the University of Texas at Austin under the tutelage of Mattan Erez and Earl E. Swartzlander, Jr., and holds previous master's and bachelor's degrees in computer science, computer engineering and mathematics from George Mason University.
